Study abroad, travel Europe and even get an international working experience.
to listen first-hand from a student who is studying in Spain.
Have you noticed how the cost of education in Malaysia is skyrocketing? It’s getting ridiculous! Tuition fees keep climbing, and it’s not just the fees. Books, accommodation, and even basic supplies are all more expensive.
It’s becoming such a burden, especially for families who are already struggling to make ends meet. Scholarships and financial aid help, but they’re not enough to cover everything.
Is that why so many secondary school leavers are opting out of further education and choosing to become content creators instead. It’s fascinating, but also a bit concerning. Young people see influencers living glamorous lives and think, “Why can’t that be me?”
But on the flip side, it’s a risky career choice. There’s a lot of pressure to constantly produce content, and you might not be able to make enough to even pay your rent! Not everyone makes it.
If you’ve been saving up for your child to study locally, you might be amazed to find out that your savings could actually cover the cost of studying in some countries abroad!
Sounds crazy, right? But hear me out.
We did a little comparison between a well-known private university in KL and a university in Valencia, Spain.
Public universities in Spain offer Bachelor’s degree for as low as €390 per semester! The big savings in tuition fee makes the cost of studying in Spain comparable to studying locally. This is no longer a secret – there are about 100,000 international students currently enrolled in Spanish universities.
Hmmm but then what about learning Spanish? How easy can it be?
What about adapting to the new culture and lifestyle?
We don’t hear people talk about studying in Spain. Are the degrees recognised in Malaysia?
More importantly, what are the career opportunities like after graduating?
Your child will be away from you. What kind of support can he or she gets in Spain?
We’re excited to have Pang, a Malaysian student studying in Spain, to come and share his experiences with us in person.
Pang completed high school in Johor and stumbled upon this option to study in Spain with his friends during an education fair and thought it’s a no-brainer to study in Europe at such low cost. He’s currently in his final year studying Business degree at the University of Alicante.
While he’s home for a short break, hear firsthand about his incredible experiences studying and living in Spain as a Malaysian student.
Reserve your spot now to meet him. And while we wish that more people will get to meet him, our office is small… so hurry up! And please do only sign up if you can make it.
